In 2009 Marek Hyka procured a special aerobatic plane EXTRA 330LC – the only plane of its kind here in the Czech Republic – together with his colleague Radim Bagar for training reasons solely using his personal funds. One of the important facts to be mentioned is that he was able to train with this special plane only few weeks before the European Championship of Aerobatics 2009 in Radom, where he won a fantastic second place even though he has been able to train for only a short time. Marek and his colleagues are currently getting ready for many top world competitions – one of them will be the European Championship 2010 that will take place in the Czech Republic.
